The BTrack14 is a small tracker designed specifically for motorcycles. It uses GPS to find its position and then transmits this information via the mobile phone network. It contains a vibration sensor so that it can detect whenever your bike is moved and then uploads your bikes location to our website enabling you to see where it has gone

SMS and GPRS

The tracker transmits its coordinates to you in two ways. You can request its location via SMS text message. The tracker will then send back a text which contains the longitude and latitude which you can enter into your SatNav or PDA or into GoogleMaps or GoogleEarth. It also contains a link to your trackers location on Google maps which you can just go to straight away if you have an IPhone / smartphone. The tracker also uploads its location to our website via GPRS where you can view and track the device online. If your bike is stolen you can log onto this website and see a red line leading from your place to the thieves house.

Installation

The tracker is designed specifically for motorcycles. As such it is water resistant and durable and does not need to be removed and recharged. It is wired onto the motorcycles battery and then easily hidden within the frame. The unit is designed to draw minimal power from the motorcycle battery.

Covert

The tracker is designed to look inconspicuous. It is simply a plain black box with a single wire leading from it. There are no flashing lights on the outside of the tracker and no text indicating its function

Configuration

All configuration is done by sending the unit SMS text messages. Once it is installed, you should not need to touch it again.

SIM

Your tracker can come with a pre-installed TescoMobile PayAsYouGo SIM card with GBP10 credit. This should be enough to last you at least a year depending on usage. The tracker uses GPRS to upload its location to the tracking server. This is very cost effective. We recommend the pre-installed option as we will configure the tracker for you so all you need to do is wire it in

You can top your SIM card up online, over the phone or at your news-agent. We charge no on-going subscription fees and no fees are charged by us to view your trackers location on our website or via SMS text message. Ask for a SIM-only, Pay-As-You-Go plan if you decide to use a different own mobile network.
